UCP of NEPA offers early intervention for children birth to three in their home, child care center, or community. Lekotek is a toy lending library and play center for children birth to 12. Compuplay provides computer classes with adaptive equipment. Staff partner with parents and child care staff to work on outcomes from your child's Individual Family Service Plan.
Compuplay, part of Lekotek, uses computers to help children with disabilities learn through play. Sessions use software, adaptive equipment, and positive play methods, and focus on each child's interests and abilities. Camps and programs are available for all ages.

In a typical EI session, a teacher or therapist comes to where your child already spends the day—home or child care—and works on goals from the IFSP. They might practice reaching, stacking, pointing, or saying sounds, using toys and routines you already have. You and your child care provider can watch and join in, so the same strategies carry through the week.
Staff work with parents and child care staff so a child's goals fit into the daily routine. Services can include specialized instruction, physical therapy, speech therapy, and developmental activities. Early Intervention runs from birth through age three and is free for eligible children. The Lekotek and Compuplay programs are at the Clarks Summit Children's Center.
